Princeton Lightwave, Inc. (PLI), a leading maker of
near infrared high-power lasers and application specific
detectors for communications, instrumentation and
defense applications, announced today that it has
introduced a 1850 nm high power multimode laser array.
The product delivers an unmatched continuous-wave
output power in excess of 10 W and a threshold current
as low as 7 A. The product is designed to provide very
high power for direct or diode pumped solid state laser
applications with the highest reliability.
"Princeton Lightwave continues to demonstrate
its leadership in the area of high power, high
reliability long wavelength diode lasers. " says
Bouch Nessar, Director of Marketing & Sales "
with output powers in excess of 10 W at 1850 nm, PLI
customers can now reduce size, cost and achieve higher
reliability on very high intensity sources. "
