Lightwave, Inc. (PLI), a leading maker of near infrared

applications, announced today that it has entered into a
supply agreement with a major South American Telecom
Equipment vendor.
Under the terms of the agreement, PLI will deliver
high power 1480 nm pump modules to be deployed in Long
Haul optical networks. This agreement confirms the
reputation of PLI high power laser pumps for performance
and reliability.
