The PGA-640 is a complete single
photon counting system optimized
for operation at 1064 nm. The unit
combines an InGaAs single photon
avalanche detector with an active
quenching circuit. The InGaAs
detector has been specifically
designed to obtain detection
efficiency of up to 30% at 1064 nm
with dark counts less than 2500 Hz. The control electronics provide complete control of gating
mode, temperature stabilization and output counters. A Labview interface provides access to all
control parameters through the USB port.
