PLI’s team brings together a broad base of scientific, operational, and business skills honed at start-ups as well as large companies. Its technology encompasses III-V semiconductors, optics, micro-mechanical packaging, electronics and software.
At its core, PLI deploys a unique expertise in designing the most advanced III-V semiconductor-based sources and detectors such as high power laser diodes and avalanche photodetectors. This core skill is complemented by deep experience in integration of these components in robust, field-deployable packages using free-space or fiber optics designs, and by system-level design competence, in order to deliver OEM optical engines.
